Amy Rief, DVM
Dr. Rief's Bio
Dr. Amy Rief was born and raised in Columbus, NE. She always knew she wanted to be a Veterinarian since she knew what one was. She began working in the veterinary field at the age of fifteen and has worked in every aspect of a veterinary hospital (even grooming back in the day!). In 2008, Dr. Rief received her Veterinary Technician license from the University of Nebraska’s College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, NE. From there, acquired her Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology from UNL in 2010. She then worked as an LVT while attending and graduating from veterinary school at Iowa State University in 2014. Dr. Rief has a special interest in dentistry and internal medicine – and Frenchies! Dr. Rief enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, two puppers (Penelope [Frenchie] and Darla [Golden Retriever]), playing volleyball & golf, and watching football.
Kim A. Ehlers, DVM
Dr. Ehlers' Bio
Dr. Kimberly Ehlers was born and raised on a farm near Lindsay, NE, and graduated from Newman Grove High School. She attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated in 1993 with a bachelor of science in animal science with minors in chemistry and biology. She then attended veterinary school at Kansas State University and received her DVM degree in 1999. Dr. Ehlers began working at Parkview as an assistant in 1993 while in college, and then started here as a veterinarian in 1999.

Linda B., LVT
Linda's Bio
Linda is a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) and joined Parkview Animal Hospital in September 2019. Linda was born and raised in the small Northeast Nebraska community of Decatur and currently resides in Lincoln, NE. She attended Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, NE, where she earned her degree to become an LVT, and soon after, she received her bachelor’s in veterinary technology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Linda joined our team with twelve years of experience as a licensed veterinary technician and spent nine of those years with the Lincoln Children’s Zoo.
Linda shares her home with her dog Jayda, a Bernese Mountain Dog x Great Pyrenees, and Julian, a cat she bottle-raised since he a week old! She enjoys going to the gym, doing fun runs, cooking, watching Husker volleyball, and attending events with Jayda. Linda has two older sisters in Lincoln, and her mom lives back home in Decatur, NE.
